Let AI Figure Out What to Do Today

10 AI assistant styles in ToToday and when to use each

·6 min read

When many people meet an AI assistant for the first time, their first reaction is: "What should I ask it?" ToToday's AI All assistant is designed differently. You do not need to know what to ask. Just tell it your current situation, and it helps you think.

What can AI All do for you?

The three most important things are:

  • Help you plan today: Tell it "I have three meetings today and a report due," and it will help you break down priorities and suggest what to do first and what to do later.
  • Help you break down tasks: Have a big task and do not know where to start? Tell it what the task is. It will break it into concrete, actionable steps and generate them directly in your task list.
  • Help you empty your head: Say everything in your mind at once. It organizes the mess into a structured task list so you can start executing.

10 AI styles: find the one that fits you

ToToday provides 10 AI assistant styles. Each has a different way of talking and advising:

Productivity Coach: Direct and outcome-oriented, suitable for people who want to be told what to do next.

Gentle Companion: Warm and encouraging, suitable for people who get anxious and need emotional support.

Socratic Guide: Uses questions to help you think clearly, suitable for people who prefer independent decisions but need a framework.

Drill Instructor: Strict and unwilling to accept excuses, useful when you need stronger execution pressure.

Zen Master: Guides you back to the present, useful when you are stressed and need to slow down.

The remaining five styles cover scenarios such as startup mentoring, counseling, and best-friend chatting. You can switch styles anytime in AI All settings. Talking about the same issue with different styles often gives you completely different angles.

How do you start a conversation?

Click the purple gradient "AI All" button at the top and just speak. No special format is needed. You do not have to organize your words carefully. "I have too many things today and do not know where to start" is already a great opening.

A practical example

At nine in the morning, you open ToToday. In your head: a proposal due at 3 p.m., three unanswered emails, a personal project you have delayed for two weeks, and lunch with a friend at noon.

You tell AI All these things. It tells you the proposal is most urgent, so spend two hours finishing the outline first; batch the emails at 2 p.m.; the personal project is not today's priority, but spend 15 minutes writing the first step; finish this arrangement before lunch.

You do not need to rank everything yourself or calculate how to allocate time. That is the value of the AI assistant.
