Most AI assistants have only one personality: polite, neutral, and comprehensive. ToToday's AI All has 10 different styles, and each style gives you a completely different conversation experience and way of receiving advice.
Finding the style that fits you is the key to making AI genuinely useful.
A quick look at the 10 styles
Efficiency Coach: gets straight to the point, skips the fluff, and tells you what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. Good for people who want speed and do not need emotional support.
Gentle Companion: warm tone, more encouragement, and attention to how you feel. Good when you are under pressure and need to feel understood.
Socratic: guides you with questions instead of giving direct answers. Good when you need to think something through without letting someone else decide for you.
Drill Instructor: strict, direct, and unwilling to accept excuses. Good when you know you tend to avoid action and need a push.
Zen Master: brings you back to the present, slows the pace, and reduces anxiety. Good when everything feels too fast and you need room to breathe.
Startup Mentor: analyzes problems with product thinking and business logic. Good for decisions, projects, and planning.
Therapist: focuses on emotions and helps identify patterns behind how you feel. Good when a work problem has emotional roots.
Best Friend: casual and relaxed, like chatting with a close friend. Good when you do not want things to feel formal and just want to talk.
Academic Advisor: rigorous and structured. Good for deep analysis, writing, and research work.
Game NPC: talks in the language of game worlds and turns tasks into quests. Good for people who enjoy gamified scenes and want a sense of fun.
How do you switch styles?
In the AI All conversation interface, click the style selector in the upper-right corner to switch anytime. After switching, the AI's way of speaking changes immediately, but your previous conversation does not disappear.
My suggestion
Use Efficiency Coach or Startup Mentor for everyday work: fast and outcome-oriented. When you are stressed or emotionally drained, switch to Gentle Companion or Zen Master. For important decisions, use Socratic style so you truly think things through instead of letting AI decide for you.
The styles are not better or worse. They are different tools for different moments. Try several, find your default, and then switch flexibly based on your state.
